Overview

One Dot is looking for a full-time, Junior IT Project Manager to work with our teams to deliver IT, software and Atlassian solutions to our corporate and government clients. Some experience in project management and agile methods, tools, and techniques a plus.

One Dot is responsible for a variety of projects for government and large corporates to start-ups. You will find this a stimulating environment to work in with lots of varied work and the opportunity to learn and grow.

Location: Coolangatta, Gold Coast office.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT and software teams delivering infrastructure, software, and implementation projects including consultants, business analysts, software engineers, and server engineers.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
• Work with clients, product owners, business analysts and stakeholders to:
  •  identify project deliverables, requirements and scope
  • refine requirements and deliverables
  • manage demos.
• Compile reports and project status updates.
• Work with teams day-to-day, conducting standups, and assisting teams deliver to their full potential

Essential Skills:

• 1 yrs. as an IT Project Manager
• Strong commitment to IT project management and willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to all levels

Additional Skills (NOT Essential)

• Some experience with Agile and Project Management technologies; for example, Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Agile methods including Scrum and Kanban
• Exposure to business analysis including requirements management and solution design
• Exposure to Atlassian products including Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management
• Exposure to ITIL

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Education (NOT Essential)

• Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2) and/or Agile/Scrum certification
